AdSEARCH Second Update Meeting with Global Affairs Canada (GAC)
Representatives from GAC, Dr Momena Khatun, Health Technical Specialist and Farzana Sultana, Development Advisor visited icddr,b for the second update meeting of AdSEARCH. Shams El Arifeen, Senior Director, MCHD and Project Director of AdSEARCH gave the opening statement followed by an annual update from the AdSEARCH Deputy Project Director Quamrun Nahar, Head of Research, MCHD. The half-day meeting continued as the nine Project Management Team (PMT) members shared updates on Work Packages and additional components housed under AdSEARCH together with plans for the year ahead. The meeting concluded with a recommended next meeting date of January 23, 2023.
