Workshop on Research Methodology and Scientific Publications

AdSEARCH by icddr,b organized two workshops on "Research Methodology and Scientific Publications" at the Asian University for Women (AUW) and Institute of Statistical Research and Training (ISRT), University of Dhaka. The workshops took place on the 9th and 19th of March 2023 at AUW and ISRT, DU, respectively.

The primary focus of the workshops was to cover essential research topics, including study designs, sample size calculation, data visualization, and manuscript writing. The workshops attracted a total of 25 attendees from AUW and 33 attendees from ISRT, DU.

The workshop was divided into two sessions. The 1st session was on Experimental Study Designs and the 2nd session demonstrated how to convince the Editor to publish a manuscript in a scientific journal and jointly facilitated by the Researchers from the Maternal and Child Health Division (MCHD) of icddr,b namely Fariya Rahman, Abu Sayeed, and K M Tanvir and

The workshop received positive feedback from the participants for organizing such informative workshops and conveyed their keen interest in participating in similar events in the future.
