AdSEARCH participated in the 8th SRHR Knowledge Fair
On 7 September 2023, AdSEARCH by icddr,b participated in the 8th Share-Net Bangladesh Annual Knowledge Fair at the Bangabandhu International Conference Center (BICC) in Dhaka. Experts, specialists, researchers, academicians, practitioners, and students joined this event to share and learn new knowledge in the field of Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR). Focusing on this year's theme, 'SRHR and Education,' the event featured plenary session, scientific paper presentations, poster presentations, stall exhibitions, and much more.
Dr Hassan Rushekh Mahmood, Senior Research Investigator, Maternal and Child Health Division (MCHD) icddr,b, delivered a presentation on the 'Mukhorito' app during the session titled ‘Thematic Session 3: Leaving No One Behind Inclusive Approach to SRHR Education’. This session proved to be enlightening and informative, showcasing the innovative approach of the 'Mukhorito' app in promoting SRHR education and awareness. In parallel, the HopeBox team presented their study during the 'YOUTH SESSION: NOTHING ABOUT US, WITHOUT US,' an intervention package designed to promote access to SRHR-related information and knowledge and improve practice among orphan adolescent girls.
iKnow team actively participated in the poster presentation segment with their new idea for innovation in the field of SRHR . AdSEARCH set up a stall featuring knowledge materials, knowledge briefs, situational analysis reports, and engaging one-pagers, along with apps and analytics. Video content showcasing iKnow and Mukhorito apps was also displayed at the fair. The stall garnered significant attention from visitors. They expressed their interest in the engaging and informative knowledge materials on display and took the opportunity to learn more about AdSEARCH's innovations and study details.
