GAC Representative visited the Adolescent cohort study
On 23-24 May 2023, representatives from Global Affairs Canada (GAC), Dr Momena Khatun, Health Technical Specialist, and Dr Quamrun Nahar, Head of Research, Maternal and Child Health Division, icddr,b and Deputy Project Director of AdSEARCH, visited the Baliakandi and Jashore field offices to oversee the implementation status and engage with the beneficiaries of the Adolescent Cohort Study within the 'Population-based Studies' and Key Population Surveillance, as well as SRHR services under the 'SRHR Studies with Key Populations,' along with the AdSEARCH Dhaka and field office project staff.
During the visit, the team also held meetings with Dr Biplob Kanti Biswas, Civil Surgeon, Jashore District, and SRHR service provider partner organisations to discuss the challenges and the way forward for the SRHR studies with Key Populations.
