AdSEARCH holds the 2nd Think Tank Meeting
In its 3rd year, AdSEARCH by icddr,b organised its 2nd 'Think Tank' Meeting on 5 October 2023. The meeting provided updates on the project's progress and discussed upcoming studies.
Dr Quamrun Nahar, Deputy Project Director, AdSEARCH and Head of Research, Maternal and Child Health Division (MCHD), icddr,b presented a short brief and recent advancement about the project. Dr Ahmed Ehsanur Rahman, Technical Coordinator, AdSEARCH, and Scientist, MCHD accompanied her during the presentation. To date, some key progresses of AdSEARCH are conducting over 20 innovations across 8 diverse SRHR themes and publishing 4 international peer-reviewed articles with 92 citations.
Public health experts in the SRHR field from Ipas Bangladesh, Global Affairs Canada (GAC), and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) attended the meeting. The body provided valuable insights and comments, further enriching the discussions. The meeting also delved into the findings and future directions in the adolescent cohort. Furthermore, participants explored potential topics for conducting facility-based assessments of SRHR.
AdSEARCH is working to advance Sexual Health and Rights through Evidence Generation, Capacity Development, and Knowledge Management and Services.
