Inauguration of Digital Data Register System for Managing Infertility and High-Risk Pregnancy at BSMMU
On 24 December 2023, the inauguration programme on the Design, development, and Demonstration of a Digital Data Register System for the Effective Management of Infertility and High-Risk Pregnancy took place at Dhaka Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU).
AdSEARCH by icddr,b and BSMMU have jointly developed a digital data register system that will help early detection of high-risk pregnancies and infertility.
It will contribute to the advancements in medical understanding and treatment by analysing data. The system will track and manage high-risk pregnancies more effectively and equip healthcare professionals and decision-makers with real-time data.
The programme commenced with a welcome speech by Professor Dr Tabassum Parveen, Chairman of the Department of Fetomaternal Medicine at BSMMU. Md. Ashraful Alam from icddr,b presented the unparalleled features of the digital register, showcasing its potential to revolutionise healthcare practices. icddr,b scientist Ahmed Ehsanur Rahman added depth to the discussion, highlighting the significance of the digital registrar system and its effectiveness.
