AdSEARCH WORD BANK: A SRHR GLOSSARY
Introducing a comprehensive SRHR glossary, designed to provide clarity and accuracy in the terminology related to Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR). The primary objective of the AdSEARCH Word Bank is to serve as a centralised and accessible resource for individuals from various backgrounds, including scientific and non-scientific staff, media journalists, and the general public.
With terms listed in alphabetical order, along with translations and spellings in Bangla, it strives to bridge language barriers and promote consistent usage of SRHR terminology across all communication materials.
Users are encouraged to utilise the glossary as a reference tool in their communications about SRHR, for presentations, publications and/or speeches. Users are also advised to consider the context and sensitivity of the topic, acknowledge the sources provided for each term, and adhere to respectful and inclusive language practices. The glossary can be freely circulated within networks to promote a shared understanding and accurate discourse on SRHR.
