Obstetric fistula and infertility continue to be significant public health concerns in Bangladesh. Infertility refers as the inability of a couple to conceive after at least a year of routine unprotected vaginal contact intercourse and affects 13% to 15 % of couples globally. On the other hand, obstetric fistula refers as one of the most severe and tragic injuries in the female reproductive tract. In Bangladesh, 38 per 100 000 women between the ages of 15 and 49 experience obstetric fistula. In the 4th Health, Nutrition and Population Sector programme, improving the facilities for managing infertility, high-risk pregnancy, and fistulas is an important objective. However, there are no data on obstetric fistula, high-risk pregnancy, and infertility in DHIS2. It is necessary to design and develop a digital register for infertility, high-risk pregnancy, and obstetric fistula to assess the burden of these diseases and design interventions to reduce this burden. To fill this gap, icddr,b in collaboration with MAMMS Institute of Fistula & Womens Health, and Bangladesh Assisted Conception Centre (BACC) Women's and Children Hospital are strengthening documentation through designing and developing a digitalised register on obstetric fistula, high-risk pregnancy and infertility. This study is being developed as a pilot study at "BACC Women's and Children's Hospital" and “MAMMS Institute of Fistula & Womens Health
