Study Overview

Mukhorito is a mobile-based application to encourage peer communication and enhance the capacity of school teachers and peer-educators within the existing school-based adolescent health programme. This app has a separate chat rooms (school-based & academic-year-based homogenous groups) for students to ask questions, and discuss SRHR concerns with their peers, peer leaders, and teachers. Moreover, designated teachers and peer leaders have access to government-accredited materials to conduct structured online sessions through the app. Within the project period, this is study is going to directly engage 140 adolescents of class IX from the selected schools as the output. It will increase peer interaction while also empowering the teachers and peer leaders and will have an impact on the overall SRHR awareness among adolescents and comply with the GoB's national target to achieve 100% coverage within the next OP (2023-28).
