Study Overview

An implementation research has been planned to develop an enabling environment for adolescents for SRHR-related service utilisation. The study is designed with two phases: formative phase followed by an implementation phase. In the formative phase, we will conduct a situation assessment and develop a service inventory of facilities in Baliankandi sub-district of Faridpur district to understand the current service provision. In the implementation phase, we will work with DGHS and DGFP to strengthen the service provision in the public sector in providing services to adolescents. We will identify different platforms such as existing adolescent clubs in communities and school health services and will create an enabling environment for health information and services for adolescents. The feasibility study will be conducted to document the enablers and barriers in the provision of health services to the adolescents at the facilities.
