Service Overview

Under lab services, we have tested a total of 99,996 COVID-19 suspected cases from different platforms such as icddr,b staff, Dhaka BRAC Booths, Rajbari, and Shariatpur since April 2021 to March 2022. Through icddr,b lab services COVID-19 samples from different platforms such as icddr,b staff, Dhaka BRAC Booth, Rajbari, and Shariatpur were tested. In Dhaka total 3912 samples were tasted where 48.5% samples were from female. Similarly, 65055, 15346 and 12485 samples from BRAC booth of Dhaka, Rajbari and Shariatpur were tested where 22.5%, 28.0%, and 27.7% samples were positive respectively. Among the collected samples 38.6% from BRAC, 42.7% from Rajbari and 44.7% from Shariatpur were from female patient. It was found people of 18-30 years age group were mostly been positive with this virus. Additionally, under this lab services, we have sequenced a total of 1328 samples for SARS-COV-2 from 02 Apr 2021 to 02 Mar 2022.
