Considering the overall situation, the Non-Communicable Disease Control (NCDC) Programme under the Government of Bangladesh has established several Wellbeing Centres, or mental health centres, at the district and উপজেলা (sub-district) levels across Bangladesh, with technical support from icddr,b. Financial support for establishing these Wellbeing Centres has been provided by the Non-Communicable Disease Control Programme and Global Affairs Canada.
