Two in three rural adolescent girls suffer from menstrual health complications, according to a recent study.The research also reveals a significant gap in knowledge regarding Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) among adolescents, underscoring the urgent need for effective education at an earlier age. These findings were presented on Thursday (June 18) during a seminar hosted at the Canada Club in Dhaka. The event brought together health experts, policymakers, representatives from the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) and the Directorate General of Family Planning (DGFP), alongside development partners, to discuss the current state of adolescent health in Bangladesh.
