Nearly two in three adolescent girls in rural Bangladesh suffer from various menstrual health complications, according to a recent study. The research, conducted by AdSEARCH, by icddr,b, highlights that severe pain and excessive bleeding are disrupting the daily lives of many young girls. The impact is so severe that nearly one in four adolescent girls are unable to attend school due to these menstrual complications.
