The study addresses the long-neglected issue of gynaecological health in Bangladesh by developing the Essential Gynaecological Skills (EGS) implementation package. This package trains non-specialised health providers and introduces the country’s first structured outpatient data system for gynaecology. Using the ISIE (Identification, Sensitisation, Involvement, and Engagement) framework, researchers systematically engaged key stakeholders through power-interest mapping. Strong government ownership emerged, supporting EGS development and implementation in public facilities. The process demonstrated potential for scalability and sustainability, though it required significant time and resources. The study concludes that the ISIE framework effectively promotes sustainable, government-led health interventions in low- and middle-income settings.
