The Female Garment Workers (FGWs) are not a homogeneous group, and so variations in their levels of empowerment are expected. These variations are likely to influence their experiences of Intimate Partner Violence (IPV). Again, different dimensions of empowerment may have a differential impact on different types of IPV. It is important to understand how various dimensions of empowerment impact different types of IPV against the FGWs.
